yeah i've noticed myself not going on this site as much lately. just because cftc seems too be heading in a different direction. it use to be about cars and driving now its just they way you look and how low your nuts can hang.

I wasn't going to say it...but I was thinking it.

for sure. Im not saying anything bad about this new style but since the beginning we've been all about the drive. not necessarily how fast but how fun to drive. I want to keep that going
Yeah, I am not bad mouthing anybody. I know deep down inside that having a good handling car in Florida is pretty useless, except on that rare occasion that I get a green light on a left turn...

well i did the whole low thing and well it was fun but now i have this jetta and i wanna have some fun again....Also the reason behind me wanting a bus. So i have the jetta to drive and the bus to cruise in. Alot of things have changed but hey we gotta make the best of it. I would love to keep this golf and race that but the rear is whats killing me.
me and vann and lou have been saying it for a while now. everyone has moved on to something different. i'm still into racing, auto-crossing, gainsvilling, etc. i just need to get my car back an running (i've found about 90% of the parts, now i'm waiting for them to get here). i miss my car alot, i miss driving it hard on gainsville, autocrossing, i miss it so much! once my car is going again, i'll be up for a lot of events! it's still the touring club, i mean look who post's now, i know for a fact that everyone that has posted in this thread would go to an autocross this weekend (time permitting on schedule), how many others on this forum would say the same? how many could actually do it with out touching their cars lowered suspension? i'm not a dick by nature, but i'm not against leaving people behind who don't care about the subject. who are interested in something else. i want to take everything to the next level. chin motorsports event's-real trackdays, (also whats been mentioned before from john) cruises to monte-verde. the tail of the dragon. the abadoned raceway in savannah, etc. i think we should be more concentrated than before! working at MINI allows me to find out about alot of events the MINI's do, they take pride setting some decent lap times at tracks, also does allversion, i'm all for competing as a group against others and having fun doing it! there are a tonne of things we could be attending, keeping us busy, spreading CFTC's name and so on.

Well I had a talk with Lucas tonight about my plans and well it is gonna be sweet. But he really couldnt have said how we feel n e better. Also if wheels are the only thing holding this damn MR2 from being complete then **** lets just go to the junk yard. I got 4 perfect 14in wheels with decent tires on them and they are 4x100. I just need to sell all the parts on this car to get started on the Jetta.

what he said^^
I'm gonna go for points this season at the CFR-west events. You want to try for all these events too? I believe Tom is also gonna do these as well. The next event is Feb 11 at the G-ville track
and I really really really want to drive the mr2 at a chin motorsports track day
i would like to attend every auto-x but at the same time, i wouldn't be going to the westside. same reason why you wouldn't want to come over to our side. it's to much driving. but we can still compete with points!
