Immigration by the numbers....

We are heading in the wrong direction... It's worth watching all 13 minutes of it to give us a reality check of how bad it's really getting....

wow thats pretty crazy, but i agree with what the guy is saying. rather then immigrating ppl we should help them out in their own countries. then again i dont blame ppl for wanting to immigrate here.

That absolutely scares the hell out of me. As that would have a huge affect on how my kids(someday) would grow up, and the world that they would have to deal with. I don't really understand however, even with helping out the citizens of other countries, why the US feels the need to help everyone out, when we cannot fix our own social problems on our own soil. As if helping third world countries half a world away is suddenly going to turn everybody into humanitarians back here in the States.

We need to fix ourselves first, then think about spending billions of dollars to fix other countries that have no affect on American citizens, or at least no immediate affect, except maybe moral value, which lately, I'm starting to think Americans really have none.

Don't mistake me for one of those people that think anything said in criticism against the US is "Anti-American," I'm far from, but if a family in some third world country gets to eat for a month, and then say someone close to me get's killed over a parking spot, I think it's obvious which one I would be concerned about more.

I'm all for helping people out, but there are so many problems here, I would just love to see them fixed before I leave this world for my someday children. I love this country, and the freedoms we have, I would never say anything to attest that, but I would that the citizen's of the country you are governing should come before the citizen's of another. But maybe that's why I'm not in politics.

Steve

Edit: So in short, I absolutely agree with this guy, smart cat. But what can we, as normal citizens, do?
