well yeah i ordered some more goodies today like fuel pump, an ostrich (lol), and head studs. I also got the other bearings coming within a few days. Once i get all this stuff i think the pace will start to pick up alot more.
this weekend i think its going to be when all the stuff start to go in the del slow. i'm so excited i can't wait, but at the same time i'm also moving to the new house. it'll be interesting.
its built and in the car. only thing left is to weld in an o2 bung, put some fluids in and go tuning. we'll probably do that tonight or tomorow morning
it limping because i couldn't really drive it WOT or in boost. BUT thats all changed.
I'm on Jon's t3/t4 running 5lbs of boost. It runs great with an AFR between 11.5-12.3 in boost. The spool up time wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. It is similar to jon's car on the turbo. I really want to up the boost and see my tires spin in each gear... lol.
That'll have to wait since i got more stuff that needs to be installed before I can like my fuel pump and jon's 2.5 bar map sensor. oh and also making my exhaust.
So Jon soldered in the 2.5 bar map sensor in and I adjusted the maps for it. Tomorrow night we crank up the boost to 10psi. Hopefully later this weekend i get my head studs and do a map for a 15 or 20psi run. I'm so excited I can't wait.
WOW 10psi is pretty crazy. too bad the boost controller kind of sucks. it goes to 12psi then creeps back down to 10 psi. But anyways more boost = crazy fun. 1st gear goes by way too quick. 2nd gear not quite as fast but it is equally as fun lol. I think i'll be satisfied with 10 psi for a while.
Next up on the mod list is my suspension. Lower control arms, rear camber kit, and struts. For struts I'll most likely roll with the koni yellows. if not that then a set of full coilovers.
