Ok so after about after a little research lucas and i found out it is consider a autocross and is the longest auto cross in the world. here is a little video.
You may not know this, but I was born in Key West and we used to go to the Square Circle bridge, which is right before where the road the track is on. It has always been closed off because it is government preservation land. We used park right on Sugarload Blvd and hop the fence. On a Saturday, when I was little there would be 6-10 cars there. But when we went back there a few years ago, it was a Tuesday so we didnt think to much about parking there. When we were done, when we went to leave they towed the car, it was pretty sh!tty.
Its a fun bridge to jump off of. Its like a good 15 feet up and the canal is about 20 feet deep. Gets a nice current going through it too. My friend lived up the road on Dolphin (Street, lane, road...something.) and we could drift on tubes all the way to his canal through Sugarloaf sound.
But I didn't know that they ran this. Pretty sweet. I wish I could go.

Be prepared to spend the night there because if you're half as tired as we were last time after the track day, you're gonna fall asleep at the wheel during the 8hr drive back up here.

Is your pan baffled? I'm thinking that it could be a short period of oil starvation while your conering hard. I've heard a car do that at an autocross and my car did it once at Gulfcoast when my oil got low. Same senario as yours. Maybe you could try to run with some more oil in the pan.
I really want to go bad and after last weekend going with lucas, it was kind of a little insperation for me to get off my lazy a*s and do something fun besides work. I dont think that I would go to a local auto x, but that seems like alot of fun and I really wouldnt mind taking my car to this. Seeing how i just spent $500.00 i dont think i can afford to take my car but i may ride along if lucas is gonna go.
my only thing against oil starvation i have is; it's happened so much that i should have more damage, like a journal locking up, or something horrible. my oil pressure never drops, but that doesn't mean that a little bit that the gauge couldn't read happened. i just have to experiment, i really hate crap like this. why can't it just be oil starvation or over heating the oil? oh no, it's gotta be elusive DAMN IT!

what i'm going to try to do is over heat my oil. see at the autpcross with those few runs, i didn't get the ticking of any sort, also my oil temps never got high due to the limited 4 runs. i'm going to hold 3rd gear on the interstate and raise my oil temps up to where they were before when i was getting the ticking, and see if it will tick, and keep raising the temp. if it doesn't tick with over heating the oil, than the only other possiblilty would be starvation, which would suck due to the fact that i can not find a freaking baffled oil pan!
