i know jamin and dave are going to watch. i need to figure out how they are getting there and such. (i know dave is riding with me.) i think that we did good time-wise last time, and i think that we could stand to leave a little later than before.
we meet at the saturday night EURO spot at 10am! then we cruise! i promise we will be going a reasonable speed too!
i'll be there in my BUG. who else is driving what?

Do you guys think leaving @ 10 is a good idea...i mean last time, we left @ 9am...and after driving up, and stopping for gas and a quick bit to eat...we still didnt get there until like right @ 12...and now we're meeting an hour later...ik for me i really wanna stop @ one of those gas stations on the way up that we stopped @ last time that has the crazy cheap gas...im betting it will be in the 2.40's if not 2.30's for regular

we will find out! we don't have to get there at 1pm exactly. we usually don't drive the whole time anyways, always letting our cars cool off. but this is just the begining, we are experimenting!

Just get there so we can leave by 10. I don't have a E-pass anymore, so I hope we are not taking the toll roads. If so, I am going to be alittle behind.

Well it was way too much fun. CFTC had the largest group, people wise, but not enough cars. Next time there needs to be more, especially when the track is needing more people to keep these events up. I also hope everybody got back ok, we all beat the piss out of our cars and I know Jon's was acting up.
Something else to talk about, maybe we should all pitch-in for a new tent. Thanks to Josh for bringing that one out, but I think we need something a little stronger and that says CFTC on it.
Diaged the clutch slip right after I dropped off Jamin. The clutch cable is binding. Oh well I needed to lube it anyways. Have had the stuff to do it for 3 weeks and have just been too lazy.
But to everybody that was out there, it was great hanging out with you, and cannot wait till next time.

Yea it was really fun. I had tons of fun destroying what was left of my tires and seeing that rx-7 drift the whole back turn was worth the drive alone. My car did some wierd thing leaving the track. I have no idea what caused it but it was fine all the way back home.
a CFTC tent is a pretty good idea. I think those really nice tents that unfold easily are like 100 bucks but if we split it between like 10 people its only $10.
