CRAZY EARTHQUAKE BONANZA 2 (BIG CFTC MEET)

Well after a lot of thinking and a few beers later, I think it is time for another GTG. Now i am not sure if you all are gonna like this meet. I was thinking that we can have it in St. Agustine. I know that it is kinda far for you tampa guys, so tell me what you think.

OK THE DATE IS OCTOBER 21, Plenty of time to get off work

We will be leaving our meeting point of Dean and University Blvd at 7a.m. sharp. Head to downtown St. Agustine and have a photo shot and go to the beach and take a ghost tour at night time. Also i dont plan to make this a cook out we can just eat out. Unless someone knows a park up there were we can cook food.

I think the distance is an issue. But I want to be there this time. I missed the last one for stupid reasons.

But if everybody else is up for a drive thats cool with me, and I can keep a few Tampa guys at my house over night if need be.

I'd be willing to drive out there ( especially if the surf is good) but I dont know about the other tampa people


I think if we do go out there then we should do a group cruise up A1A from daytona. Its an awesome drive

However you guys want to get there is fine. I know that if you take 95 up there it is about 2 1/2 hour trip. So taking A1A might be a long trip. I really wouldnt mind staying over night but most of us cant do that. But yeah it will be a fun trip for sure.

reason for sunday, is that some of us who work viet can take sunday. Like i know that for me i can take any sunday off. Sometimes lucas has to work on a saturday and cant take it off.

yeah, but think about the tampa guys. i know ppl have to work/school early monday. spending all day and some of the night at st augustine and having to drive all the way back before work/school isn't going to be fun ofr them. may turn some ppl off from going. just looking out for ppl .... oh if you didnt know its a good 4hours from tampa to st. augustine.

if it's on a sunday.. I can't really go. I work m-f type of job. If we're going to do something this month.. i don't even mind just going up to orlando and just chill out until there is a 3-day weekend deal.

i'd much rather have it closer, but i'm ost likely going to have to sit my car out unless i fix my motor.

maybe we can find a place to ride go-karts for the day or something or we can attend a race. i know theres lemans at road atlanta in september. i haven't really looked into it much though.

i wanna keep the meet more automotive related then just hanging out cuz we can do that anyday of the week.

yea i'm agreeing with viet. I think if we do it in St. Augunstine it will just become hanging out at the beach. I love hanging out at the beach but we've got an automotive club so we should keep the big meet automotive related. Also if we do something like Lake Louisa Park again more people are likely to go. And I really want to get some kind of cruise going since we're supposed to be a touring club

the thing is though, if we "tour" up a1a to st. augustine, that would fit us rather nicely. if people want to come to orlando the night before, im sure we can accomodate them.

I'm up for other ideas though. road atlanta would be awesome, but i think we'd end up carpooling and i dunno if we wanna do that. The HSR events at daytona and sebring are coming up soon, so that could fill our need to go to a race. (hsr events are awesome)

i dunno, any other ideas?

Are you sure you can afford to go to a HSR event viet and Dave? Dave will just spend his moms money so I am sure you can get 20 bucks from him if you suck him off.
