Huge progress today!! pretty exciting stuff here...the motor is off the engine stand.
It's positioned in the car on one mount and the other side it supported with an old control arm.
Here's the new drivers side mount we fabbed up just tacked in to place.
and here's the control arm that just happened to bolt up to the camry mount positioning it almost exactly where we wanted it. We are still figuring out what we're going to do on this side.
got more **** done yesterday 6-20-06. got some more stock mounts at the junk yard to mod to fit on our car. With that we made the right side motor mount. ATM the motor is being held by the 2 side mounts we made and tack welded. As far as mounts go I think we have the front mount and rear mount palnned out, we just need to make them.

Yeah, some good progress yesterday. we got another mount and pretty much all the supplies we need to fab up the front and rear. thanks to lou for helping out with a ton of grinding. we'll need to get some more cut-off wheels before next time.
yea it was cool to get some more cftc members working on it since its a cftc project car. The rest of the mounts should go pretty smooth since we have all the materials now.
