Ok so I got 2 tires for 20 bucks from Billy and I am gonna throw those on the back and move the back ones to the front and then get 2 more soon.

I am also gonna put the oil ressure gauge in tomorrow so if anybody wants to come by the house please do......................

Ok got my 20 dollar tires on today. But the other day on my way home my car just got super slow and to make a long story short my knock sensor went bad but i cant figure out if it is the front one or the rear one.

I got a cheap 5 dollar pod and then come to find out i hated were i mounted it so i removed the gauge. But I will put it back in the soon ones i get that pod i posted on the last page.

OK so I am really confused on my car. I have taken off the front and rear knock sensors and the damn car is still SLOW!!!!! I am confused and cant figure this out. I have a code for a O2 relay but i didnt think they have a relay for that. I am not sure.

well i did some research and if the knock sensor is reading a faulty knock or just giving bad readings to the ECM then it will retard the timing 12degrees and put the car in what you would call "safe mode". When you unplug the knock sensor it should work fine just the ECM thinks it is reading it fine with no knocks. But for some reason my car is still in some kind of "safe mode". So i cant figure this out and I am probably gonna try a few more things b4 i take it to a shop to figuret his out.

maybe it was knocking....so it pulled timing to save your motor. then you took off the knock sensors, so it put the timing back normal. then it started knocking again and just blew some **** up. way to go lou

I think I fugred it out........

Starts the other day when installing the gauge when we were putting on the sender i broke the front knock sensor plug were it clips/plug. Then it was almost apart when I noticed it was broken and from all the vibration it was having it was probably sending the ECM a bad signal. So contected all of the knock sensor again and put the fixed the front one. Cleared all the codes and car runs fine......

on a better note got my yellow fogs done and I am probably gonna sell the gauge so if the MR2 needs it I am sure i cant sell it for about 25 bucks. I need money not a gauge.

I vote yes. That oil pump has 170,0000 miles on it. It'd be good to monitor it

Well I found out today that Jason will be selling a set of 256 cams and well i hooked him up big time on a complete VR6 long block so that means i am gonna get a deal on these cams.

Need to sell parts off the golf............

Yeah, that is what I ment. Steve has an ABA.. You could steal it from him, he needs a VR6 bad. That 2.0 is pretty useless.

My advice to anybody who wants a VR6, the next time my car breaks you can come over and work on it for me...........Keep the 2.0

so the car is running great and everybody is starting to think its not stock seeing how i raced to car recently and won...

07 GTI 2.0T pulled on him up to my front door

06 Audi A3 that me and Jason killed on the highway. it has a 2.0t

I think a dyno day will be coming soon to see what my car has.

well got the car dyno'd and the results are in the moment of truth thread and also pick up a set of 262 cams tonight for a deal that i could not pass by.

well i got the motor mounts in today so next is the big install of motor mounts and short shifter that i also got. Next weekend is the cams
