just the other day the trans on my golf went out and the price to rebuild it was crazy. so im going to replace it w/ a stock 5 speed 8v trans but i also have a 4speed diesel  what should i use

I am not a VW guy. So I am going to go ahead and say you should use the ten speed tansmission from my bike. I think it will work. I recommend lots of JB weld.

Trust me, this will work out for the best for you.

diesel!! it would be a crazy close-ratio gearbox!! i know alot of people use them for drag racing, but it would deffinitly be crazy at the auto-x

I would use the 4 speed but it will suck on the highway. But then again the ten spead sounds tempting, I dont know how good are you with jb weld?

id go with the 10 speed with gripshift mounted on the steering wheel. that'd be super quick shifting
