car got broken in to

yep some dude took part of the 350z exhaust that was sitting in my driveway, smashed my window and stole my laptop. I had just fallen asleep and the whack woke me up and my alarm was going off. i went outside to see what happened and saw glass everywhere. they got the tuning laptop, the power cord, and the serial cable  so they're fully ready to do some tuning. kinda funny that the laptop is probably only worth like 20 bucks.

glass is everywhere inside the car, gonna take alot of cleaning up

I just have to get a new window and clean up the mess so its not that bad. and the cop said theres been alot of laptop theft in the area and they have a good lead, so i might get it back but i doubt it.

Holy **** dude, glad they didn't do anymore damage. That would have been pretty funny if they would have tried to steal your car though. lol That newspaper headline is priceless!!!

yeah, they would have never gotten you car started.  did you see em getting away or were they too quick?  is insurance gonna cover you window and stuff?  i guess youre gonna have to get a usb-serial adapter now to tune with huh?  will that work?


 


that sucks dude, at least you get to sport a trash bag window for a while, thats pretty cool.  I say we need pics!

nah no trash bag window. i just rocked the no window and glass everywhere for a day and travis got me a new window through his glass dude today. the new window was 140 and my deductible is 500 so no insurance.


ill probably just get a usb to serial adapter or maybe get a bluetooth module and tune wireless


i didnt see the loser. it was a few minutes before i woke up and made it outside

I usually work 50+ hours a week........but I had surgery to get a syst removed and so in my down time to recover I've been on all kinds of internet forums catching up!!
