Turbos are also expensive and now I work less and drive more so a turbo might not be the best option right now. I really want to get a good tune so i can get better gas mileage and I learned you cant really tune timing without an egt gauge or a dyno. So im probably just going to slowly get the other supporting stuff like an egt gauge, injectors, start working on an a/w intercooler or maybe just build a manifold for one of josh's turbos and run that for a while. But dang gas is expensive. I'm going to be spending more money on gas in a month than my car payment

i think you are able to still get a nice t3/t4 if you budget yourself. i'd do the egt, injectors, intercooler and piping first.

I think we should start a GB for an EGT gauge because I want one, you want one and I believe majorposer wants one as well. Do we know anyone that could get us a deal?

hmm i know i could get one from work at cost and i could probably work out some kind of discount for a group buy.  what kind of gauges would you guys prefer? I know we can get Greddy, defi, AEM, possibly autometer but they're crappy, and i think Apex makes an egt gauge

Hmm.. I'd like to stick w/VDO since I already have a VDO boost, but I would be willing to sacrifice looks for a cheap EGT...

I found one on the tex for $75 shipped if anyone wants it. I would grab it in a second if I wasn't waiting to buy coilovers...

that is a good deal on the vdo one but it only goes up to 1650 and id like something higher. how long do you want to wait for an egt?
