so whens the next time we are going to work on the audi project car? i really wanna get this thing rolling so we can do stuff to it and get to the autox.

arew e positive that its the fuel distributor? there are few down here we saw at cophers. similar problem. from what i remeber from that link someone had a similar problem and suggested that vacuum lines need to be checked. There are a few other suggestions also like relays and stuff, but nothing with the fuel distributor.
