Well yesterday after work I just decided to drive around a little while before I went home. I had just turned on 301 from bloomingdale and I looked into my rear view mirror. I saw a car with those ricey windshield washers at the 301 light.

I was cruising at the speed limit and a little after the I75 exit that car pulled up next to me and paced me. So I look over and I saw this black civic with tinted windows and some red dragon graphic. Then I started to fall back a little and I saw the back of the car cut and he had a table for a trunk lid and some altezzas. I laugh to myself when I found out it was another del sol. After checking out the car I speed up alittle and pace him. I was driving in 5th, so the turbo wouldn't be so loud, waiting for him to take the hit. I hear him dowshift and I do the same into 3rd. I took off and left him behind by 2 car lengths at the end of 3rd. Then I shut it down. I then started to preceded to give him mutliple bov action. Then after passing the crosstown he still paces me and want to go again. I wait for again to take the hit and the out come was the same, but this time he just fell back and stayed back there...i'm guessing he got embrassed that he got beat by a stock del sol.

Well I got back home after the little drive and a few hours later my brother's friends, derryck and david. We started talking about christmas and **** and then I told him I finally got my turbo fixed. He asked me what psi I was running I told him about 10 and he thought I was bsing him.

Then I told him I want my rematch sometime and that I think I could take him. (Oh by the way Derryck has a b16 hatch. Don't kow if he has any other mods or not.)
Anyways he then said then next time we race we are going to race for money. I said alright, but told him I'd race him for $2 becuase thats all I had on me. He declined and said how about for a full tank of gas. I agreed and we went out to onto 301 to race. It was me in my car and the 2 in derryck's car.

We started to pace each other. I was in the far left he was in the far right since there was a car in the middle lane. I was riding on top of 2nd waiting for him to take the hit....why do I always wait for th hit? But anyways he takes the hit then we are side to side then in 3rd I procede to gain on him my back bumper was up to his front in mid 3rd from what I recalled. I was still gaining on him then he shut down. Then he tells me to stop at the next light.

We stop and wait for it to turn red. It turns red then we both get rdy to lauch. We both rev up and the light turns green. He gets the better launch (i suck at launching) and I end up to the back of his front tire. As 1st ends so quickly I shifted into 2nd. I started to gain on him by the top of 2nd I begin to pull away from him then he shuts down. At the next light he david switches into my car. Then we wait for the light again. We both rev then the light turns green. Samething happened again. but this time after I go thru 1st and 1nd I was dropping back. I was thinking to myself damn this mofo is heavy lol. I shut down and we go into a 7-11 lol. We talk and david decided to just stay there while we raced again lol.

So well pulled up to the light at the intersection and I was cold as **** shivering and shaking then the light turns green. I see derryck taking off and I was like oh **** we are racing lol.. I ****ed myself because I wasn't rdy. I lost that one. Then we make a u turn and catch another light. This is what I don't remember much of. I just don't know why i don't remember I think it was a run where he ran out of gas or some ****. But we did pull in 7-11 again and then had 1 more run. We agreed it'd be the last one. Well on that run this time i was ready. We both rev up and waited for the green. It turns and we both start to spin he was about a bumper ahead. I was steering all crazy lol. Then I catch grip after 1st and we were neck and neck till the top of my 2nd and I started to pull. I didn't pull I go into third and am still pulling. I never looked back lol, but never saw him next to me so whatever. Well I shut it down. then we go again on the way back to 7-11. This time his lane ended and I don't think it was a clean run. Then we didn't findout who the clear winner for some reason so we paid for our own gas. It was good races though.

Cliffnotes- I beat a riced out del sol thinking that I was stock. Raced bros friend and I believe that i beat him, but whatever. Next time its probably going to be on video hopefully I'll have a clutch by then and maybe some more goodies and a video camera or some witnesses.
