Second, Last night I was driving home and a friend of mine called up and asked if I wanted to go to a concert at The Social here in Orlando. I naturally asked who it was and he said it was going to be "The Legendary Joint Chiefs". Said it was some funk band and I should definately check it out. I had never heard of them, nor do I listen to funk at all, so I figure what the hell, lets try something new....
...Guys, I have been to some GOOD shows. Ian can attest to this. Shows that make you want to just run out and accomplish something amazing. Most notably, recently I attended a reunion show for Hot Water Music. Seen them once before, but this past show was, and still is THE best show I have ever been to. But, the show I went to last night, was a very, very close second. Just the energy, the talent, and the mix of people there. I saw people there that I absolutely didn't expect to see listening to this music. And EVERYBODY was into it. I don't dance, and I could barely keep myself still at this show, that's a big thing for me. Anyways. I just had to share. I'm hooked now, I can't wait to see them again, and start listening to more of this genre. That's all really.
