for some reason my dad is flying to atlanta friday, and coming back with a mk1 MR2. white, to match his remaining mk2. dont have many details yet, he says its "pristeen" though. when i get the details, i'll post up.

didnt you get pics of it? you should try to post them up here. mk1 would still be cool, but I'd definately would have waited to find the right mkII turbo.

yep he got it.  i guess the reason he wanted to get the mk1 is because he really wants to be a mr2 connisoure however you spell that.  he's getting down to the roots, and he says this car is a very good example of a mk1.  he's going to do a little mini restoration to clean it up and make it as close to perfect as possible.  He's not going to auto-x it, he already said that.  But i guess it seems like a cool car.  you guys should get to see it over thanksgiving if you want.

cool! I'd definitely get all the MR2's if I had the money just cuz they are cool cars. So is he going to get the MR-S too?

That would be cool if your dad convinced your mom to get a mrs. Dang dude I wish I could have all three of them. hmm is he going to also get like the different models of them. Like the suprcharged MKI and turbo and the spyder MKII? If your wondering what the spyder MKII looks like i'll try to find a pic of it. Last time I saw it was on I thing mr2faq.com. Its definately a very rare version of it. It may actually be a japan only thing though.
