so jon worked on the 2 yesterday and got it to the point where it was ready to crank. he messed around with MS settings to try to get the timing right, but it didn't fire right. We did manage to get one cylinder to fire. I think the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st cylinder aren't getting any fuel....like i suggested before everyone thought the motor was blown. So hopefully we can fix that sunday and have her running.
Yep I think you're right. Theres no fuel in cyl. 1,2 and 3 so that must be a problem. I'd never expect 3 of the injectors to just not work since the motor came out of a running car but I guess they could have rusted up or something from sitting for so long. Guess we should have checked those along time ago......... huh viet?
Ps: I still havent given up on taking it to roebling road. Its definately a long shot, like a good 450 yards but maybe just maybe.
Typically, you can take the injector out, and use some carb cleaner or what not, and directly jump the terminals to close the solenoid and break it free. I had to do this on my 20V when I put it in the MR2.
