Grassroots Motorsports $2007 Challenge and Me

Last weekend I was at the Challenge in Gainsville FL. and had a good time.  If the weather had been better that would have helped everyone.  I just wanted to show some pics and tell you how it went.  Out of the 47 cars that came out, I finished 20th overall.  I was 18th in the autocross, top street tired car, and 20th in the concours judging.  The drag race portion was rained out on Saturday.  You really need to see some of the other cars that showed up, they were crazy.  Check out this link, http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/news/category/2007-challenge/ & http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=29954  for more info and pics.

Awesome!! Congats on going out there and finishing respectively. Thats so funny that you just bought the car, took it out there and finished good. Next year I'm there for sure.

That corvette is pretty crazy. I never even thought of a suction device. I cant believe it actually worked.

Chaparal did that a while back, from what I understand its kinda weird to drive since when you lift off, you lose suction

That corvette guy sounds so much like an "engineer". What a nerd

What other cool cars were there?
