So upon the recent fixing of the VW. I have now begun to push the car more and more on the road. Few things.
It corners, very well, just a little throttle application to keep the chassis happy. It pulls like an effing freight train. Seriously, from like 2000 up, it just doesn't quit. And scary enough, it has this huge burst of "go" at like 6500rpm, which is really close to the "Charger danger zone". I loves me the Corrado.
So I see myself detonating the charger, not due to a mistake, just due to usage, in a relatively short time. So I used to say turbo...now I say supercharger again, probably buy a rebuilt Stage 4 from Kompressor Kanada. Turbos are cool, but I love that bottom end pull.
And yes, for those that I spoke to on Thursday, this has all recently developed. Basically drove it home that night, did a few pulls to show the Ian it was fixed, and well, it was all downhill from there as they say.
