Yeah. Bet you didn't see that one coming. I'm not even going to tell you guys what I paid for it, and the stack of receipts I have for it. Including one from Bahn Brenner for something like a camshaft or something....Daylight pictures tomorrow. You can eat of this interior. And/or the engine bay. I've never been so happy on a car purchase. Ever. Recall my previous topic about buying the first car you fell in love with. I did, and I still cannot believe this is MY Corrado, sitting in MY driveway.

Sweet car man, congrats. The only negative thing I can say is one please tell me it has a swapped VR in it.....If not then please tell me the blower was either rebuilt or replaced with a non VW blower. Other that that it is sick and i want a ride. What is done to the car?
All I can say is I cannot wait to see the thing in the day light. I cannot believe what he paid for this thing. ****ing awesome car.

So far I am stoked over the car, him calling me and telling me what he was going to pay for it made me a little....I take that back, pretty worried, but I cannot believe what is in the driveway right now.... it is freaking amazing.

No VR. I honestly don't want one. If the lader chunks itself, I will not be sad. As Ian mentioned, no parasitic drag ftw. Supercharger is cool. But I believe a turbo would be cooler. Or, I'll just hack up the coin for a Lysholm from BB. Trust me, I'm totally aware of the issues with the Raddos. And I'm ready for it, as this is something I've wanted for a very long time. And yeah sure, the radio doesn't turn off unless you remove the faceplate, and the windows rattle a bit. But I don't give a ****e at all. I went to the gas station this morning before work, and while walking out from the store portion, I still couldn't believe that it was my effing Corrado I was walking out to. I wish I could bottle this feeling and save it for later, when the car gives me issues.
