Yeah I am pretty sure i am gonna go with the last plan and just take my time with this. Few more track days and ill see how i do. So next step is to find a great deal on a cheap car.

 



 You're off the team!!! I want your stuff out of the garage by tomorrow. You're gonna have to find a new ride because I'm going with someone that can actually deliver a podium finish.


PS:  thats a good idea. and when you do start racing wheel to wheel then you better get a radio setup so i can be the crew chief and quote days of thunder through the entire race.

I want to get the radio so at the next track day or when i get signed off, i can have someone time me and then tell me my times. and quote that movie as well.......

Not sure were I left off at but, I got the roll bar in and the harness's are gonna be ordered in the next week. I am signing up for another track so round 2 of CRX VS Race Track.

Ok so there are a few things i need to do b4 the track day. Any help would be nice.

Harness's--install them when the come
Fluids--Flush them all
Brake pads--order them and swap them
tires--balance them again
hotel--make reservations
(anybody know a good hotel in GA)

if anybody can think of something please let me know cause i am sure i am forgetting something.

 We gotta pick up Viet's block from machine shop, put it in his car. Then pick up the VR6 from the storage and put it in my car and start on some mounts. Also gonna play with some stuff on the v8 and price out parts for it. I'm gonna make the mounts for the vr6 anyways even if I do go with the v8 so that way I'll have an easier way to drive the car if the v8 were to go bangooggnggeder.

Ok so I am ordering the harness's on monday. Wensday i am ordering the brakes and probably gonna find a oil pressure gauge and water temp.

So then next month i am gonna spend money for the track day and getting ready.

Now after the track day i am gonna buy the bushings and koni yellows. Now my next questions is I want a little more power. So do i make some kind aof blower kit or do i do ITB's? Let me know what you think......or may last options is go turbo.....

change all the fluids.
mount the harness's

and drive the piss out of the car b4 i go.

going for a alingment not this weekend but the next.

still waiting for the harness's to arrive. They had to be made....that is awesome.

still need to bleed the brakes

fix the axle

flush fluids

go racing1!!!!!

Fixed my CV problem the other day(thanks Jason!). I also went and got an alingment and found out i had some worn out parts on the car that need to be replaced. Also got the seat belts in and installed!

Tonight I am going to flush all the fluids that need it and then put the race brakes on and bed the rotors. Tomorrow night I am gonna pick up the other set of wheels and tires from jason.

The car is coming together rather fast. After this track day I need to buy the bushing kits and tie rods and lower ball joints. Also gonna save up money to get the Koni Yellows. After that is done and installed I will then do another track day. Hopefully by the end of Jan. Ill have that done and in the car.

I am still on the hunt for a tranny so please everybody keep your eyes open for me.

After I get the tranny, it is time to build a ITA car......

well you know what the plans are......I thought about turning the CRX into a race car for the NASA Honda Challenge. But I am sure that i would never even be mid pack cause of the class it would be in. So I have decided to build and or buy a ITA car. It will probably be a Neon, or another CRX. I am not sure. I need to finish this car(thats right I said finish) b4 I get into another project.

Please make it a CRX and not a neon. But if you do get a neon you should paint it Ronald McDonald colors

Man I wish I could get that now...

Well got a ton of video from roebling road. It was a blast and the car was great not one problem. Drove it there and back for a total of 750 miles. Well the plans for this next check are to try and get all the bushings and tie rods and lower ball joints. That would pretty much do the suspension good for a long time. the only thing after that is koni yellows and of course a tranny.

Please people keep your eye out for a tranny. I really need one.
