yeah so i talked to darren a little while ago. apparently darren just got this cool classic mini. its red, white stripes on the bonnet, right hand drive. looks pretty sick.
oh yeah, and for some reason his b16 crx was missing from the garage. wierd, huh?
Ok were should I start, I had the miata and well it was fun and fast but sucked gas and sucked on the highway. It needed mega squirt and needed to be tuned. I can only have one car so doing mega squirt could have went to ways. Good or real bad real fast. So with that in mind I decided to sell it and I did. With that in mind for some reason I bought the mini......Impulse buy.....so darren offered to trade his crx with a built motor and well i did.
I don't doubt the CRX won't be fast, or fun, or track capable. And not to put down any Honda on this board, lord knows there are some amazing ones out there that are clean, and fast. But maybe it's just me, but the Roadster had soul, and some real character. And CRX's just seem so...well common. I like them, I've seen videos of them kicking ass at the track, but life isn't always a race track, and unfortunately Honda's love to get stolen for some reason in Orlando.
And for me anyways, there was nothing better than putting the top down, and driving. Maybe I'm just a die hard Roadster fan, probably am, and I'm probably pretty biased, because that NA you had was absolutely incredible, at least in my eyes. I hope that the CRX sticks, I really do, and I hope it's nice. Because to get even close to the asking price of your Mini, it better be the best god dam CRX ever./Rant

P.S. In the end it's your own car, and it's your choice, but I did this already after I got rid of the first AW11, never could find a car to compare to it, and I sold a lot of cars that I regret selling. That's all.

there's a dent in the front driver's side fender, it looks like someone threw a basketball at the car. It should be easily removed. Some of the paint rubbed off during the transaction as well. So, no, it's not wrecked.
So i rode in the crx today. The suspension is pretty good for what it is. I'd like to see it at and autox or the track. Its also pretty quick and that M4d VtEK sounds nuts. We also raced across gandy. In first and second gear the crx had me. When my third gear came around I started to catch up and walked it the rest of the way.
Well the tranny is messed up and i should be getting the other one this week. So yeah viet did walk me pretty good. It is a n/a against a turbo car that was done right......even if it is a soch it is fast hands down.
