I looked at their website and it looks very similiar to an AFC. It has 8 tuning spots with 3 load settings for each. 8 x 3 thats 24 total spots which is not very good for a good tune. It also says it will convert it to a load/rpm based map but it doesnt say anything about having a pressure sensor built in or added on. The Pro looks like a better system but its not out yet.

If piggy backing is the cheaper way then I'd go with the SMT6. I was thinking about it for my car but I did megasquirt instead. I've heard good stuff about it too. Its still a piggy back but has way more tuning capability and also can control ignition. I remember finding a used one for 250 so its definately cheap. http://www.perfectpower.com/products/smt6.asp

Yeah, the SMT6 is the best piggy back out there, and for the price it blows away the E-Manage.

Back when I lived in MR2 land, a bunch of the turbo SW20's were getting 400-450 using the SMT6 and factory AFM, which those are really big numbers.

i saw the write up in grassroots, they were very impressed on its capabilities, they kept it and used it.

So after looking into it, theres a few Lou miata options.

Emanage - Alot of miatas have those and they work. used price 350

SMT6 - No miatas have them but its good stuff although may be hard to learn. used price around 350

Powercard/AFC - Not on many miatas, tuning might not be as good but cheaper. 200

Megasquirt - Plenty of miata's with it and good information. 400

So I'd probably pick ms because you get way more for just a little more money. Or the other choice is sell the car.
