What Lou and I have been up to...

I'll not go into specifics on the trade, but Lou has my miata now, and I've got his Jetta.

I'm crazy excited about this, I've been wanting to get into another vw for awhile, and I'm glad it's this one. And, I just bought my first thing to add my own flair to the car:



and here's how it'll sit:

Well congrats on the V dub. That jetta is amazing and I am still confused on why Lou would give it up... good luck getting all the Vinyl off.

yeah, seriously....I'm not looking forward to Thursday. Any suggestions?

And it was a tough decision for both of us. I love that miata, he loves the Jetta. At least both are in good hands, and we'll be around them as time passes.

I would say get a heat gun to soften up the glue, maybe some adhesive remover to help it once you got it started. But then you have to wax it, the remover will do away with everything.

Well i am really excited about this whole trade myself....I dont know why i am giving up the jetta but i have a good feeling about it. I love driving the miata and it brings back that roadster feel that i miss from the MR's.
