I'm gonna start scoping out the area for good wheels. I saw 4 perfect wheels in someones trash like a week ago and I almost went back to pick them up but then i realized i had no use for them. so now they're gone into landfill land never to be seen again
this is beyond grassroots, this is like soil or something! i'm looking to spend atleast..............the least amount of money possible. time to learn how to weld!

lets leave that for the grand fanally! luckily i still have some metal left over, and a couple tires left over from the go-kart. i either need some wheels or find something different. i hear sundays are great garage-sale days!

I think we need to set rules. Brief, but rules none the less. Number one reason being: We don't all weight the same. I think there needs to be a set weight for sled+driver. I mean, there may be the initial start that one could argue a heavy chassis would be a downfall, but once moving, that 250lb driver/sled combo is going to have much more of an advantage over one that is say 200lbs. And I know none of us are stupid, but brakes, that would be good, oh and a helmet, that is all.
