I wish you were out here Steve. Texas is freaking amazing. It is nothing like I thought it was going to be, I am completely impressed. And I know we have made fun of the people all our life "Steers or queers" but they are real quality people. They are all college educated and have high standards of each other and are polite. What a change from Florida.
OH. And I had the greatest steak of my life tonight. I about nutted in my under-roos (Texas talk).
Oh and the roads, B roads 50 miles long and no cops with curves and elevation changes so extreme I got a little car sick in the rental Caddy while I was driving (I am blaming it on the old person suspension and **** seats). I scrapped the **** out of the oil pan on a dip, pretty gnarly indeed, and nothing like getting a 3 ton rental car that I shouldn't be driving airborne.
Yeah, my mom is over my shoulder and said you would of loved it out here.
So this is the plan. Paul and Kim said that we can come out here any time, and we should. So that is the plan. And they live on a lake, Canyon Lake, look it up it is huge, and they have boat and such. But the roads are unbelievable, and they said that I am going to like the area around Austin better, and that is where we are heading tomorrow after breakfast. Right now we are outside of San Antonio, which is an amazing city, lots of good bars, cool buildings and outstanding Mexican food.
Sorry I wrote all this on here. Whitney isn't allowed to have AIM on the computer, so I couldn't download it and I know you don't myspace...so this was my Opinion.
Ian's math for tonight: Bikes>Cars>Trucks Texas>Florida Steaks in Texas+Awesome local beer=Heaven
PS. When you read "Texas" in my post you have to say it with a draw. "Teexx-eeexxxx--ooousss"

Yeah, I know, cars will never replace motorcycles in my heart, however, I do still have a love for cars, as I'm sure you do too, you just don't like to admit it, and even though I'm not going to stuff a VR6T under the hood of the golf, I still want it to look like how I always wanted my VW to look. The bike will come, I am still really wanting to save up like 3-4k and buy an almost new/brand new EFI bike, keep the Honda as a toy, and then the golf as the parts truck/road trip vehicle(Colorado? Monterey? Mo ya!).
Oh, and I want to go back to school, and that, sadly enough, costs money, bike money. But in the end, I'll have more bike money than my **** ass boring parts job now. Thinking more long term now(trying to at least)
