Hey, I was thinking of getting a project car, and found one at XAT. Was wondering if we would all like to pitch in on a project so we could split up costs, and all learn to swing out the ass in a corner. This could end up really nice for cheap! It's an AE86, 1987 Yota coupe. Original motor with only 70,XXX miles! auto. Clean body, Light blue in color. Flip up lights! Sweeett! Comes with complete GT-S motor, tranny, and 5 spd. manual swap. Its the perfect project starter car, with all the parts we would need to get it sideways as a bonus! All the fun of a motor swap plus 5 spd. swap, without having to track down the parts! XAT said everything for 2,000. I want a DRFT project but my dad thinks we have enough cars in our driveway. so If I can't get a project going I'll be gettin a Gixxer. Either way I'll be having fun.
Dude, i dont know if we can pull together the funds seeing as we're all cheap ass bums...but that would be ****ing sweet. I would totally love to work on that and pendulum around some hairpins... maybe i'll go buy some scratch offs and hope for the best
Damn if I had money I would be in, but unfortantly I don't. How long do you think the AE86 is going to be there? If I ever get a job I still need to finish doing stuff before I save money for a project car.
If we each put in 10 dollars a week then we could raise the funds for the car in about 6 months so we could all be drifting by February and then we'll have to find a place to keep it. and what mountain pass are we going to claim for the club? but im in if we can find a good drift spot
Wow... I forgot how poor all you guys are!! I could go buy the car right now with what I got in the bank! suckas. I don't need a project car all by myself though. Plus I don't think I could keep it here. It's all about the benjimans.
