well maybe not. the initiative was there but time always has to come in and ruin everything.


i still plan on being there though. hopefully someone will let me bum some driving time in their car

I really want to take the Jetta......I need to test fit Lucas's wheels and tires to see if they fit and raise the front of my car. But I am sure i can let one or two of you guys turn a few laps....gas money......But I have to see if i can get saturday off. Also need to change the oil b4 i even think about driving up there.

I'm considering just burning up the rest of the tires on my 17's. I might as well they still have rubber on them. I'll just have to drive up there with the wheels in my basket

do you guys remember how strict they were about the battery inspection? Mine is mounted with a ziptie...i know its solid and not going anywhere, but will they give me shlt for it?

Inspection...what inspection..."do you have all your lug nuts?  Is your battery in the stock location"


 


Lol thats all iv'e gotten...So where are we meeting this time...and what time, last time we were pushing it a little bit, i dont think i'll bring the tent since it was a waste even though it was somewhat nice to have last time...anyone else have a better alternative?

This isn't the SCCA, I would say add more zip ties. Yeah, when I went the inspection went like:

Him: Nice 'intake'
Me: Thanks
Him: Where is your battery?
Me: Under my seat
Him: Is it secure?
Me: Its not going anywhere...
Him: Good enough, have fun.

Truth be told, it is being held down by some Velcro and my carpet. And the seat of course.

Oh and I am not going, super broke and nobody bought my parts yet.

whoever is going, do you want to go to the morning session? If so, we need to meet at 5:30am. Jamin and I did it last time, and it wasnt bad. I like that its colder in the morning session. Im up for it if you guys are. Let me know. Lets meet at the thurs night CFTC meet spot.

EDIT: how bout this josh...if you take the 408 towards the turnpike, get off @ the kirkman exit and take a left onto kirkman and up the road about a half mile you will see a RaceTrac gas station...5:45 there sound pretty good, or 530...ill check this post in the morning...hopefully this works for you...youve got my # so hit me up if anything is different

So where was everyone at??????? Tom and I were the only ones there unless Josh and Josh were at the morning session and left before we got there.

You guys missed out though. Awesome event. Lots of sick cars to watch. I'll start another thread with pictures and stuff.
