I dont think the city would want to spend money to just fill it in. They would just waste money doing that and attract less ppl to the park.

Save the Bro Bowl

I thought it was funny that they're planning to remove the bowl for "more on-ramp traffic to the interstate". I've used that on-ramp almost daily and the most traffic I've ever seen is about 3 cars in front of me at the light. Its a fun on-ramp I might add, long cambered uphill right that you can really gas it on. They might be trying to plan ahead for all the condos being built but how many of those people will live downtown and work in the suburbs.
