Well as some of you know, I finally got my Ginster Yellow GTI! so since everyone and there mother have threads on their car, i figured it would be the cool thing to do to start my own thread for my new project
As it sits right now, I still have to do the following:
-Finish polishing the paint (Ginster yellow does not come clearcoated from the factory)
-Get it registered
-Get the wheels balanced or just get new wheels
-Get an alignment
-Post pictures!
If anyone has any 4x100 wheels sittin around, let me know, i need to figure out how fcked these wheels are
VR Lip and Suspension are getting ordered this week, gonna lower it just enough to be lower than lou
First off sweet buy, second you gotta a lot of wrok ahead of you if you want to get lower than me. I still have helpers in and have like 13 threads in the rear. So go ahead try to get lower than me, YOU WILL FAIL!!!! Second you can be like ever other person and get a VR lip. Ill still be lower with my Duckbill.
Id rather drive on the rotors before putting the trispokes on
But, its just a 2.slow, its not as bad as i thought it was going to be, but the interior is flawless, dave has seen the car, i'm sure he can vouch
Just finished polishing it, and figureing out what my vibration was(belt separation in the tires), now i just have to finish doing the rest of the tune up and lower it and i should be good to roll for a while
Dont hate lou, just cause my door matches the rest of the car doesnt mean you have to be jealous
So the car is runnin great, got my HID's in as well as some other random stuff
as some of you know, I picked up a set of BBS RA's for $40 for the set this weekend, I got a little bored and decided to do some test fitting, let me know what you think, i'm still debating if i should put them on or not, hope to have it dumped by the weekend

Nothing more should be said. Also, not everybody likes to get stuck on speed bumps. My 240 was pretty much as high as she would go, mainly because I didnt have the suspension arms to get the proper alignment, but there is times, in normal day to day life, when being on your nuts is RETARDED.

Just another update, as some of you know, I got Lou's old ATS wheels last night, I painted them today and tonight at the spot, I got an offer on them, so they will be sold as soon as the wheels I ordered today come in
pics of the new wheels will be up as soon as I get them on the car
Tuner shop is pretty much the ****, they are sending my wheels 2 day international priority shipping with early delivery via fedex fo FREE! (supposed to be 3 day) so the wheels will get here thursday morning, but wont be able to be put on till friday since i have a final on thursday which is ghey
Fcking customs....Wheels may not get here till saturday because the dumbshlt checking the boxes cant figure out that a hubcentric ring is made of plastic
So pretty much, I'm ready to put my foot, through someones face at this point, now fedex is straight up fckin with me, they promised me free saturday delivery, so I wake up this morning to the sound of my door bell, as I ran to the door, i see the fedex guy with only 2 packages!!!11 apparently 2 of the packages somehow never made it to the truck to get to the fedex distribution place and 2 of my 4 wheels are sitting in an airport
