so all of you who went to gainesvill yesterday im sure were all covered with bugs...so i got a lil of that bug remover stuff today, and used it on my car and this is what happened...
Get some auto polish. Wpnt take but a few minutes to buff out. Modern cars come with a hard clear coat, so you just have to level it out.
Dont get anything too abrasive, it will go to deep and take too much clear coat off. Just get something fine and spend some extra time on it with a terry towel.
Also, if you want to prevent this, I would look into getting the 3M clear bra installed. My mom has it on her FX35 and she got pelted by rocks and love bugs driving up to GA. All they did was peal the old one off and replace it.

so auto polish, i just tried a very fine coat of turtle wax and that just made it a lil shinier all around...so polish..nothing too harsh and not a claybar?

Yeah, wax isnt going to do anything unless it is a cleaner-wax (polish and wax in one amazing bottle). IMO cleaner-wax is a waste of money, it doesnt polish that well and it never is a hard enough wax to protect anything. Things like Nu-finish work great and its cheap. Just stay away from rubbing compound.
