Miata of Doom

Just a mini shoot. I had no intention of actually getting anything good from this set but I got one picture that was really nice.

#1

#2

#3 the best picture to come from this set.

I'm going to try and get an actual shoot done next week and post up some nice pictures to do this nice car justice.

The last one is a little underexposed, but still came out really DOF-dy. What were you shooting with (body, glass)?

Its underexposed because of personal preferance. Most of my car pictures have a dark editing, or its just the angle of my laptop screen.

The body I'm using is Canon Rebel Xt. The first picture was taken with my 18-55mm and the last two were taken with my 50mm 1.8

Good focal point on number two... A few weeks ago I was bitching about digital camera and their lack of target fixation. ...Mazda..

No, I'm definitely getting that Peleng 8mm Fisheye within the next few months. I must have that.

I picked up my 50mm with a hood for $90 shipped. I really hope that your shooting Canon because I really want to check out a fisheye first hand.

The high end p&s (point and shoot) have auto focus points. I know the Canon g6 does. I think that model was discontinued though. Check out the Canon s3 is that one might do it for you.

turbocivic, which fisheye do you have, and how do you get rid of the vingretting (I know I spelled that one wrong)

phoenix super fish eye

you can see the vignetting when you look through the lens, if you're zoomed all the way out you'll have a full vingette, the more you zoom in the less vignette.

So that just screws onto the end of your lens like a filter? If so I've played with one before, well not fisheye, but wide angle.
