Soooo.....short story is we got a tv for free.
A coworker of my mom's said he had this broken tv he wanted to get rid of. I looked it up on the internet and figured that i could fix it. Anyway, i brought it home and plugged it in, and it just worked again.
here she is:

apparently the HD DVR is the same price as the regular DVR. So i just need to call them and have them bring out a new box.
