I am lost. Why would you want that? Is it for an R32? As in, the R32 doesnt come with a spare? Anyways, I would want to run a spare on the R32, I would be too affraid that it would be off enough to screw up the diffs. One car, 3 ****ed diffs=money. AAA is much cheaper, they are getting faster too and have more flat beds.

A few weeks ago we were thinking of ridculous wheels and wheel narrowing. Lucas brought up that in Europe, the R32 comes with a spare (USDM did not) that is a mere 17" in diamter by 4" wide. Yes, I agree with you that one of these wheels in combination with AWD entailing three differentials would result in a pricey situation. But if you were to gather 3 more of these elusive spare wheels, and then had the nerve to put them all on... THEN, you would have a recipe reserved to the unique.
Still, the spares are temp use only, not to mention they run at 60 PSI and have a speed limit of about 100. We had some douche try 100+ in his SRT4 when he was late for class on 528, the tire exploded and he rolled. His parents tried to sue Chrylser and we got a big memo on it. They really have a short shelf life when it come to road use and I think they are all glued to the Rim (they were on all my Yota's, Nissan, Jeep, and every Chrylser that I have worked on.
So to me, without being in your original conversation it doesn't make a stick of sence.
So if the goal is skinny wheel, also looking for a 4" wide wheel too? Also, why a 17? If you want old school why not 14's and white walls with that cool hubcap. Sorry I am just really, really confused.

17s would just add to how absurd the skinny would look. It was really just a "haha that would be funny if we did that" w/no real intention on doing it.
