it was awesome... seems like a good track for beginners. its is pretty small the way they set it up...didnt hit more than 60mph.. i want to see the pics Jamin got
I think i can speak for everyone and say that we had a blast. We all got a ton of track time and nobody blew up their cars.
I think everyone learned something about their car's too. What did everyone think their strong points and weaknesses were?
for me, I know i need some negative camber up front...The car otherwise seemed failry well sorted. I'd like to be able to play w/ spring rates but thats not in the cards right now. I may stiffen up the rebound in the back for the next one, or maybe soften the front. I also need to bleed the brakes and throw some fresh fluid in there...and maybe think about doing something to keep them cool. The pedal got pretty spongey towards the end of the sessions and there wasnt even a ton of braking.
Here's the morning course. This one was really fun, but i htink the PM course felt more like a real road course, and was more interesting.
The back 180 decreasing radius turn was pretty crazy. I'd enter it at about 60mph then you had to carefully slow and turn more as you went through it. fun, but challenging to get really good.
wish i could of been there. the last event had that decreasing radius turn going the other way so you could accelerate out of it. it was pretty fun but tough getting the right line through it
