someday when i have time i'll see how fast i can get, i dont even remember what cars i have its been so long since i've played.

I didnt decide on the track, someone else mentioned it so I just went with it

as far as nitrous goes, its up to you really, i would say no, but if you use it, there's no way to tell, so basically its fair game i guess

What were you driving bro? I played around for about 10 mins with a SRT4 and got 1:20.984, and I could maybe shave off another second, but not 2. Also, did it with a full modded DC5 ITR and got 1:23 something. Both without NAWWWZZ.

Well I'm tryin to keep this competetive, if everyone is using the same car, it kind of takes the fun out of it, but I can assure you, the time is real, the car is legal, and I have the screenshot which will be posted as soon as someone beats it/comes close

Right now I am at 1'19:456 (I think that is is, off the top of my head, but its really close to being right) with the SRT4. I think I can get it, if I start really getting into the settings. And for screen shot, I will get one in the morning.

how do you guys have money to buy and mod cars? i only have $66,xxx that might get me a car and some light mods but its not gonna be enough to get a good time. 1' 37" was my best time with my EG hatch, i only have 2 FF cars in my garage, that and a '72 honda step van

Go to the special conditon events, race the easy Capri ralley. Its the second one down in blue. I use a Stage 3 NA Miata 1st gen miata (BRG baby). Do it and sell the car that you get after the two events. The car is where the money is at, I forget how much it is but its enough to get you started. And you can do the race as many times as you want, its like the GT4 ATM.

Edit: Ok I did it to make sure what I was saying was true. It is. You get 5k per race, 10k total. Then you get 265k for the Toyota Rally Raid thingy. So 275,000 for 10 mins of work isn't too bad.

what i do is get one of my faster cars and run the el captain 200mile enduro. just put it on bspec and let it run for like 2hrs then come back and you get 250k+this toyota minolata racecar. In the end think you end up with 750k after selling the car.

I wouldnt put to much into the eg, all I managed with that was 1:23 ish, fully built, and there was more time out there, but I dont think enough to beat 1:18, just lacks the power to really pull down the straight, eh but Im not that great.

Ok, the real money is in the DTM race in the european events. do it in b spec then sell the car you get....ends up being like 900,000cr. thats what i do anyway...should take like 30 mins? idunno

EDIT: so i got the money, got the accord euro R, got about 351hp out of it and the best time i got was 1:31?! i must really suck, but when i play in track meet mode i lap everyone?

So I cannot break my 1'19 time. I wish I saved the ghost. I haven't been able to get out of the 1'20's in the last few attempts.

My Excuse:

Turn 5. Understeer for life. I cannot get that turn right to save my life. If I try to break pre corner I go in too slow. If I trail brake at turn-in, I rotate and take a bit out of the inside sharks teeth. If I let off at entry, turn in I am still too hot, if I trail brake at the apex I under steer or over brake and lose my exit speed. I am at the point of letting off really early, hit the clipping point and just baby the **** out of the gas to keep it from going off. But with that, there is so much off throttle time I that I can see how much speed I am loosing. If do brake early and somehow power through the corner I will shift into 5th before the sweeper, but if I do the pussy ass lift off, I wont get out of 4th.

Turn 11. Middle pedal of doom. Brake early and strait, the back end wants to step out and it upsets everything. Trail brake at turn in, backend swings and I end up in the inside grass. Let off, turn in, brake, catch the oversteer, go wide and screw up the next two corners.

The bad part is when I screw with the suspension settings for one corner it will upset the car in the other. Right now it is as neutral as possible but I just loose so much time in these two corners. And 11 is extremely important, it sets you up for 12 and 13 and if I don’t get a good exit out of 13 I loose speed on the strait. And I hate it when I go across the line and see that I am in 2nd.

So I am keeping the 1'19 as my time (for now ).

I would try another car, my SRT-4 has around 480hp.
