Its a new internal combustion engine design, a Variable Geometry Toridial Engine.   check out the google video link (one of the first couple links) for a wierd video about how it works.  apparently capable of creating insane amts of HP for its size and weight.  A large question seems to be what to do with all the heat associated with it.  crazy stuff

props to the complexity of the design but after looking at the mr2oc post it doesnt seem like it could be beneficial unless they create alot of new technologies. It is a sweet engine though. I'd run it if they work it out.
