What is it? You might ask. Well some people call these overly large and obnoxious vehicles 'SUVs.' These 'SUVs don’t handle worth a darn, but they sure as hell hold a lot of crap and a lot of people, not only that they do tow a lot better than something on coilovers and slammed on its nuts.
Ok, back on point. 95 Ford Exploder Limited (Leather Bitches) 4.0 V6 2WD 250,000 miles (not a misprint) Purchased for $500 Title and Tax $65 Repairs and Mods: $84. Total so far: $649
Mods since owned: Fixed the AC Cleaned it (well just the outside so far) Tune-up (had original plugs and wires) De-gunked the crankcase with Seafoam and ATF. Last oil change 04-05-05. But it sat for 8 months. De-yellowed the head lights. Fixed the brake fluid leak. Burped the Coolant system. Which for some reason was really difficult.
Future Plans: Induction service and decarb the motor. Clean the K&N air filter that came with it and hack apart the airbox. Buy a class III trailer hitch from a junk yard. Cheap and its not like they go bad. Rewire the trailer wiring so it’s a lot less ghetto. Get that Awesome DVD player working. Clean the interior. Fix the back right window. Fix The Cruise control and information centers (2 of them, its probably something stupid easy) Replace the broken back left tail light assembly Brake job…I wonder if I can get cross drilled and slotted rotors? lolcano Ghost ride it.

ok, first question is this a personal vehicle? if it is something that could be used in an emergency for a member(s), that would be cool. but i really doubt it, and it's understandable if it's someone's daily driver.
i'd be more than happy to help with a winch (it would come in handy for those none self moving vehicles) to mount on an trailer, and help with a trailer. i know some members have gotten into trouble, myself, jamin, etc that have had big problems that need towing. i think that we are gonna have'ta get a meter installed for lou!

Well its my daily driver. But because I am going to be working less and really only going to be unavailable durning class, I will alway be able to tow. The thing is, with Steve and I, we have always needed a truck and I know the same goes for everybody else on the forum. And now with me being without a car this came up out of the blue and the price was right it seemed to be a great buy, not only for me but the entire CFTC community. There are somethings not perfect with it, but it does the job. Just need a TPS, brakes and some teflon tape to make it a really good tow car.

sweet! I'd be willing to pitch in on a trailer to use for the CFTC community. I also have access to the 4runner most of the time so I could tow it when needed.
Yeah, I totally cant keep it. Liability on it is almost 200 a month and it gets less than 13 mpg. It will be cheaper in the long run to by a better car.
But I am happy that I am getting around by my own means, and right now that is all that matters.

Well the SE-R. B13 with like one-kagillion miles on it. Still runs like a champ.
Has AC too. It was just that he posted up his new mistery car thread when I posted this up at the same time, didn't want to kill his fun. So I got crazy with my paintshop skills and this is what I came up with.
Thats a good idea though, thanks for the heads up Jamin.
