It's the 5th and 6th of august. I was thinking of going on the practice day and hopefully get a lot of runs.

was fun!   all you guys missed out again.  its a really nice event similiar to deland but more laid back. The runway is nice and grippy and the course layout was fun and had a pivot turn at the end. We got 6 runs before lunch and would of gotten more after lunch but after my fith run my car decided to puke oil all over the staging area. It was my oil pressure sensor. It was leaking out of the body of the sensor so that was the end of the day for me. I think Tom and I both did some good times and Tom had 1st place in A stock(not sure out of how many..haha). Its definatley going to be a regular event for me now.

congrats to Tom on the 1st place.

the pressure sensor shouldnt be too bad of a fix...but how much $$$? How'd you get it home?

they did have a box of loaner helmets. there wasnt any really impressive cars out there besides a stripped golf on some wide race tires and a really good driver that through his gto around the track.

its probably like half an hour up 41 from your place mike

i bought a gallon of 15w-40 (all they had) at a gas station and was planning on pulling over every couple of miles to add oil but the heavier oil and slow driving slowed the leak down enough for me to get home. It's like 6 bucks for a new sensor so not bad at all
