so who's going? the race is at 7pm on thursday the 29th. I just have a call-in that day so if i dont have to work, im going.



The Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series returns to Daytona International Speedway for another 250 miles of racing on the twists and turns of the 3.56-mile road course. The Crown Royal IROC Series, an invitation-only All-Star series, will also make a second visit to DIS to complete the doubleheader day of racing with a 75-mile road race under the lights.

apparently this race we just sit in the grand stands, red white and blue at the top of the pic. So you arent very close, and there is a big fence between you and the cars. this race is less of a photo trip than when we go into the infield.

daytona's site says 20 bucks. usually there is a student discount or something though. i really hope there is.

i ended up having to work and didnt get home til like 6:30 or so, wish i could have gone. you guys' pics look nice, pretty good panning shots. heres one that i got of my dog, i told you hes faster than jamins car!
