Brakes

I found these Bicknell calipers that are pretty sweet..apparantly they are willwood knockoffs or something. anyway, their 3000 series which i think is the nicest retail for about 150 a caliper...and they have weld on brackets for 10 bucks.

3000 series calipers

weld on brackets

nice racing brakes for 320 bucks is a pretty good deal i suppose

not bad and the cheapest pad for that one is $14.38 for each. Also an option between a caliper that accepts .810" rotors or 1.25" rotors. Definately a good option for a future upgrade. We'd have to get larger wheels to fit them in.

How about Mk2 Turbo Front Calipers?
Or FC3S Turbo II 4 piston Calipers?

Let me know. Oh and I am going to New York on Tuesday, early, if you want to try a test fit, you got to let me know before Monday night.

oh i found out that celica all-trac st165 calipers bolt right up and just need spaced out 3mm to center the caliper over our stock rotors.

they have larger pads than ours and they are a 2 piston sliding caliper. Also, they can be had for 80 bucks on alltrac.net

nope, no progress on the brakes. I dont know why we're even looking at those now. I'm moving by the end of this month, so we need to hook up the stock brakes and toss the motor back in so we can tow it to my new place. We'll look at it soon though and let you know if we this they're even usable. thanks!
