i've been kinda fascinated with this car. its an e36 chassis 320d (d for diesel) and it won the production class in the 24 hours at nurburgring in 1998.
Lou, you're right, and you're VERY wrong. Z4 roadster, that's what you saw, that's a normal bmw, the replacement to the Z3. The M Coupe, pictured above, is a whole nother monster. There were talks of bmw making a coupe on the z4 platform, but it was always said they wouldn't do it. Well, we, the enthusiasts, won this battle. I'm in love with that car, and I plan on owning one someday as well. Also, good news, no paddle shift in that car, just a straight up 6spd, with the engine out of the current e46 m powering it. The sexy lines are an added bonus.
