correct, we are using the street tire in arcade mode rule. (if the car has access to only street tires, than it's allowed to compete)

Well I kinda figured that everybody would run and pick some Jap car or some crazy german roadster(not that i am talking down on them cause one of them will probably with this comp) but I figured that i would be different and so first i picked a ZO6 and got a 50.223 and then just about 30 min ago I used a Saleen S7 and got a 50.002(car modded not tuned) and then I tuned it a got a 48.??? dont remember but Russell has a pic of the time. I am sure the car can do better then that due to it being 2 a.m. But I really need to adjust the camber and stuff better and i think I will have a pretty competative car if the times dont drop much lower then the fastest already. But I am going to have to say for an american car it preforms very well, better than i thought.

I also picked a 97 MR2 and the horsepower was way to low to even try to compete with these times.

oh to let you know I couldn't get my s7 too get any lower then 48 seconds. It just didn't feel stable enough to be able to do it. If you haven't tried putting a poiler on your z06 yet do it because it helps out alot. It may look gay, but it may cut your times by a second or 2.

I think that with a little more tuning and a good 30 solid min of laps it could get lower than that(S7). But we will see, I actually like driving the car it is alot of fun. As for the ZO6 I fell that it is way underpower and just doesnt cut it for this comp. I may try to put a wing on the S7 and see what it does.

how much power does the z06 have? I didnt think the rx7 would cut laps that i made with it when i first looked at the power. It only makes around 630hp, but that thing is a monster in the corners. It grips like crazy.

Well it is around 500 or 600 i cant remember. I guess i can try to tune it again but i think i am going to stick with the S7, it is just a better car to use i think. Cause i only messed with the suspension and i did it really quick and didnt get a chance to really go over it.So we will se what happens.

What are some other cars people are using for this?

man I tried that TVR Speed 12 oh boy does that thing have power, but I can't seem to make it take the turns well. After a few laps I got a 47 something seconds. For some reason I mess up at the last U turn.

I printed out the Tsukuba circuit and ran it with a Clickster 0.5mm #2 running leaded fuel and I got a 39.352

I doubt you guys will beat that. and my line wasnt even that great

I suggest you guys try out the ZZII. Its quick and really stable. I've trying using a few of the euro cars, but I haven't found anything to match it. I even tried a korean car lol. I haven't tried much of the american cars except for the z06 and the S7

what the f is this? gran turismo?? I don't have a playstation, or this game, or even a computer! luckily my roomate is nice enough to let me use hers!! or else i wouldnt be able to post at all

i got the cobra to run a 49.xxx but that is about it!
