i was thinking about trying to build my own race seat. what do you guys think? from looking at lucas' and just some of the pictures online.....they arent that complex.
i mean you have a base that mounts the seat to the floor, the frame, then you just pad it and cover it. i could make it fit me perfectly....get other dimensions from lucas's seat or online since they list every dimension. and i could borrow my moms sewing machine for the cloth, hehe...
how do you plan on building it? sheet metal? or maybe get a giant ball of silly puddy and sit in it then fiberglass it for a mold that fits you perfectly
