auto cross is only sunday, it's in deland, right off of I-4!! i was looking at the map, it's about 10 minutes down I-4 from daytona!!! registration is open from 8am to 9am, and 15 dollar late fee from 9am 9:15, and then no more regs. if we leave orlando at 6:45, we'll be on I-4 by 7am, and be there by 7:45, with time to walk the track! let me know how this sounds!

breakin for a turbo? ummm, whats to breakin? maybe i'm wrong, but i don't think there is a breakin period. i really don't know of anything that needs to "break-in"
john, as for tires, i've had good luck with my hankook ventus RS2. they handle in the dry very similar to the azenis, and kill in the wet. what are you thinking about?

i was looking at the toyo t1-r but they dont make a 60 series tire so it would be alittle smaller diameter and i dont really want that. hows the wear on the RS-2's?
for the turbo I'd just go with the "beat on it" break in theory
so far the wear on the tires are pretty good, but still to early to tell. jamin can you atleast ride with me, as i'm going to be the only going. (still have to ask david, but louis can't go, nor can steve.)
i really can't think of a reason to breakin it in. you have a free floating bearing in that turbo, just as long as you got oil in it, and eveything is tightened down, give it a good work out, i don't think that the current boost your running will hurt it, so i would drive like it never happened!

I still want to go but I have to get tires if I'm going to go. Theres a set of stock Audi wheels in the shop that Im trying to get. They're the 5 spoke 17's with some kumho's with plenty of tread. Hopefully he will sell them pretty cheap since I just put some coil-overs on his car.

well the dude came and left today and i didnt get a chance to talk to him but I asked the sales guy to ask him about them and i dont think he did but he said if there still here in 2 weeks then they're mine so thats cool but not for this weekend at the autocross
going tuning right now and try to turn it up to 15psi. should be fun
