I finally got a better intercooler. It came in wednesday afternoon. It looks very nice! bar & plate and looks damn sexy. I can't wait to put it on my car. I ordered 15inches of silcone hose and 4 2.5inch u bends. Hopefully this will be enough bends to fit the intercooler. I think while i wait i'm going to paint it black..or maybe pink....lol

yeah that should really clean up the engine bay. can i have your other IC? maybe i can rig up a dual sidemount since i doubt i'll be getting my front mount this summer. let me know

i sure did say that. I guess u can have the intercooler, but u gotta beat me in that initial d game at gameworks...lol. every since i played it last night i think i'm hooked on it.

why not?
one reason why wasy cuz i didnt want to pay $75 for 3 of the damn transition couplers. also jon and I calculated which diameter was better between 2.00, 2.25, and 2.5. Most of the variables were very minimal to me...unless jon sees it another way. The velocity decreased as diameter went up and vice versa for pressure. Also as diameter got bigger it was more free flowing.

Doesn't painting your intercooler make it conduct more heat, therefore heatsoaking it and severely limiting the performance of it? IDK Maybe that is just powdercoating it, It sure looks cool though...

actually it does effect it, but it isn't anything drastic. I think someone did a test on it on honda-tech or homemadeturbo.
