Bye.

I'm leaving to move to the north east next Saturday. Albany, Rochester, NYC, Boston, don't know where, but I'm getting out of this state and moving closer to my family, not a lot of us left and I hate being so far from them. Some of you I know better than others, some I wish I had gotten to know better. East coast car/motorcycle Dragon rallyes will happen. I'll keep you guys posted.

Should be nice up there. Good luck with the move.

So are you stopping by the dragon on the way up? I may be interested to drive along if so.

way to realize the dream man, I don't know how long I can stay in this oppressively hot and un-mountainous state, but good luck.

Thanks guys. It's not been an easy decision leaving all my friends down here. But here's hoping it's going to be better in the end. And you're right Eric, I just can't do it anymore. No seasons, no terrain, nothing, just not worth it anymore I suppose. People say "I'm sorry" when I tell them where I'm going. I thinking in my head that I'm sorry they think Florida is the end all be all of living locales. It just simply isn't.

I'll post some pictures when I get up there. My BMW is almost in winter mode, I have some 5 series steelies with some nasty winter tires on them lined up to pick up on the 6th up there. And if you guys hadn't heard, it's now on some Bilstein HD's(the yellow monotube ones), with factory M3 springs and strut mounts in front(more caster). Basically, imagine it at the same height, or like 1/4" lower, but with basically zero body roll. Yup. The rally-esque snow tires will complete the winter mode circle.

I'm sure I'll have some interesting projects over the winter. Remember, can't ride, so I've got some fun things planned for me and my brother involving the XS650 I have. A bobber/chopper like thing that I hope he can be proud of as well when it's done. He's in the 5th grade and I'd give anything to have an opportunity to build something like this at that age.

But don't get me wrong, I am terrified. In general. People tell me this is normal, and I'm hoping so. I have my sights set on Boston right now for school. Probably Wentworth or the AI of Boston. St. Patricks day madness anyone? Close enough to the family, but just far enough for a buffer. But school won't be till next year. So this winter, relax, spend time with the kids, build the Yamaha, and ready for the cliche` statement? "Find myself". Who knows where I'll go.

Either way. You guys still doing the thursday thing? I might be able to make it out, not sure. But let me know. And I'll see what I can do.
