Found this interesting, its a response to someone asking if turbo manifolds should have equal length runners like n/a headers. One guy replied "

quote: "which is why its important to remember its equal pressure that is important not equal length... Equal length is just the simple way to make sure its even but there are other ways to get equal pressure and have better results because the volume is less.
Editing to say that the overall volume is still less becuase youare not adding extra to some runners to equal out the length.. You an do cmopletely un equal volume and still end up with good equal pressure though."
I found it interesting. Noone ever thinks of why the runners should be equal length, they just know it's supposed to be better. Kinda like people saying you need back pressure, when you really need exhaust gas speed.
