clutch install and etc

the clutch and stuff was a success! It took longer then I had expected. It took us less then 24 wokr hours to do it. I think it actually took like 15 - 18 hours give or take an hour. We did some stupid stuff while doing it, but if we were to do it again it would be pretty easy as long as thing cooperate.

the clutch pedal is way different from before it is now way stiffer and the shifting through gears feels smoother. The brakes also work better too. hopefully jon can get the pics he has up. I'll try to take pics of the old clutch and pressure plate.

Well when you want to remove a transmission you need to get the car up off the ground. So we decided to put it up on ramps.

here is the first attempt at the ramps

you can see that the car is on the ramps but not off the ground

on the second attempt we used the ramps so that the car was actually off the ground

However, you can't take the axles off with the wheels still on, so this is how we should of done it to start with

but once we got that taken care of the only other problem was this starter bolt that we didn't take out

after taking that bolt out the tranny came out

and then we put the good stuff in
