So this is how the story starts. I got this free plane ticket deal through my cell phone plan. There was a few options of where to go like LA, NY, Boston, ATL, places like that. Then Lou asked if I wanted to go to NY. So...... basically I chose to get my free plane ticket starting in LA and ending in NY. Then I'll meet Lou and possibly Viet there, hang out in NY then drive home. Oh by the way I can do things like this because I just graduated and dont have a real job yet. So I have no commitments or anything. It will be a giant loop around America. I'll start here in Tampa, travel to Los Angeles, fly to NY and then ride home.
Now the only question is.....How do I get to Cali?
A few options I thought of
1. greyhound bus 2. train 3. bike (ruled out) 4. scooter 5. exchange work on lou's car for whatever vehicle he can get me that will make it to cali, then drive it into the pacific or give it to a bum once I get there. 6. sail down to the panama canal and up the pacific coast 7. catch a ride
Any other ideas?
And another question. What things are worth seeing or doing between the atlantic and pacific?
ps: it only works if that free plane ticket actually happens. i'm waiting to hear about it.
Ok so i really like the idea of you drving whatever car i can get you...... you have to take alot of pics. I also think that you should give the car to a bumb and have him drive it into the ocean....LOL
Here is another option, take the train just dont pay for it. Ride on frieght trains until you get to L.A
