I tried to find you today, but didn't succeed. Sorry about that. By the way, for the people that didn't go, it was a friggin blast. I am thinking of the sound the cars made coming out of the corners, and it is making the hair on my neck stand up. It was worth going if just for the pure symphony of 10-15 of these machines downshifting into a corner and rocketing themselves back out.
Love, Steve
P.S. I tried to take some pictures, I took a few ok ones, but I honestly didn't feel like it, I really just wanted to watch the cars through my own eyes, not through a camera. And, I feel that everyone needs to go to something like this, pictures do not do it justice, so they would be a poor subsitute for the real thing. But, they will follow.
Some pictures, no laughing, I know they are bad. So can it.
I didn't look at any of these before I posted them, so some of them may be blurry etc. The weather was gnarly to watch. The pictures of the suspension on the Honda car in the booth gave me a chubby.
its ok, I enjoyed myself, I didn't have rain gear and would've had to stay near my Honda awning to protect the camera, so I would've just held you guys down. but I got pictures too, and eventually, I will post them. some decent videos will also be linked to for sound purposes. but right now, sleep...
Here's a pic or two from each spot I picked I think, and at the end, a link to them all (160) and videos will come later... https://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c300/Grumbanumba5/2008%20St%20Pete%20Grand%20Prix/
